Omahawks RC Inc. welcomes you to enjoy the exciting hobby of radio controlled model aviation with us. Located in Omaha, Nebraska, our club members enjoy the fact we maintain one of the most prestigious radio controlled model aviation fields in the United States. In fact, the Omahawks R/C Club is Omaha’s premier radio controlled club and we are the largest AMA Chartered R/C club in the Midwest!

Hawk Field

138th and Fort Street

Hawk Field is located in Omaha, Nebraska at the beautiful Standing Bear Lake Park, at approximately 138th and Fort Street. Our field sits above the rest of the park, providing a great view and enjoyable environment.

Hawk Field has a large 500’ x 40’ paved runway surrounded by lots of pit area in both grass and on pavement – and parking is abundant and close! Plenty of room to set-up the tents and a great pavilion for food and shade. Walking trails travel completely around the lake so families will have plenty of area to roam about. This is a large, popular park and spectators are always welcome and invited to sit in the bleachers to watch and participate.

To access the field, turn right into the park and at the fork, take the first right. Hawk Field will be at the end about 500 ft down the road.
