We have added a Google Calendar to the Website to make it easy to see the calendar of club events and get email notifications of new or changed events.  You can even add the calendar to your phone!

1. What You Need: A free Google Account.  You can create one by clicking here: Create Google Account
2. OK, now I have a new Google Account or already had one and am ready to add the calendar.  Now What?
3. Click this Link: Add Google Calendar to add the calendar to your Google account.  It may ask you to log in to Google and then it will ask you if you want to add the calendar from “Kevin Hyde”.  This will add and subscribe you the “Kevin Hyde” calendar.
4. No offense to Kevin, but you can rename the calendar to “Omahawks” by changing name using the calendar settings on you Google Account page (hint: find the three vertical dots by the calendar name and click settings).
    

OK now what?  How do I get the calendar on my phone?

For the iPhone add the Omahawks calendar to your calendar by following the instructions by clicking here.  These instructions will ask you to go to the Settings app, scroll down to Calendars and select it, then in Calendars go into Accounts and add your Google account.  Once done you will see “Omahawks” events on you iPhone Calendar.

Getting the calendar on an Android phone is as easy as opening you Google Calendar app and making sure the “Omahawks Events” entry has a check mark by it.  Click here for instructions.

But wait, there is more - Get Notifications of New or Changed Club Events.  For Apple devices you will not get Google event notifications of new or changed Club Events unless you also add the Google Calendar App to your iPhone.  For instructions on adding the Google Calendar App to your phone click here.  Then enable notifications for New/Changed events by following the instructions by clicking here.
